Virtual Interconnect to present at Product Realisation Centre Event

Virtual Interconnect is to present at an upcoming event in Glasgow, organised by the Product Realisation Centre (PRC) in partnership with Virtual Interconnect.  The event will look at The Virtual Prototype - Utilizing the latest 3D modelling techniques.

Recent research identifies virtual prototyping as critical to achieving best-in-class product realisation.  In this event, Virtual Interconnect, the Glasgow-based 3D CAD experts and specialists in cabling and piping design, will demonstrate how 3D modelling techniques can be utilized to eliminate the need for expensive physical prototypes.

Using a recent project with a global manufacturing company as an example, it will be demonstrated how some of the latest 3D CAD software can be used to create a virtual prototype of an engineer's proposed design.  It will then be shown how this virtual prototype can be used to carry out a virtual design review; including simulation of a complete product build sequence, installation of sub-assemblies and testing for any potential issues when servicing.  The session will give great insight into how 3D virtual prototyping can be used to speed and improve your product design process, ultimately reducing your time to market and costs yet also increasing quality.

This FREE seminar has been organised by the Product Realisation Centre (PRC) in partnership with Virtual Interconnect Ltd.

PRC helps Scottish entrepreneurs, start up companies and SMEs get their products to market.  PRC can provide guidance, support and advice on new product development and engineering management and offers a range of services designed to support their customers at every stage of the product development cycle.

If you are looking to develop a new product, this event is not to be missed!
